Hi, I'm Annie, I am passionate about helping young people to learn, grow and become confident adults ready to take on the world.  

I have a background in primary education and specialise in science, environmental education and music. As well as being a Primary School teacher, I have worked in the USA as a field teacher and camp counsellor and was the Music Hub Lead for Torbay.

 

As a teacher I always had a particular affinity with children with ADHD and Autism and really love finding ways to help children who struggle to engage. My nephew and daughter are both autistic and my daughter and myself both have ADHD too so I have lots of lived experience. 

 

I have had so many great experiences that I use to create bespoke and meaningful holistic educational activities that enable young people to learn for life.  I started working for Esteem Team during lockdown and have never looked back.  

I am a keen singer and also play piano, guitar, trumpet and ukulele.  I also enjoy a bit of pottery.

I live in Newton Abbot with my teenage daughter who has Autism and ADHD, my cat and my dog who loves long walks on Dartmoor or the beach.
